We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and financial subscription data you enter into the app.
With your permission, VThrive reads SMS from bank and UPI sender IDs only. Personal messages are never opened.
Once, when you set up your plan, it reads the last three months to suggest your income (salary and any other regular money coming in), rent, EMIs, regular bills and investments. You see these numbers and can change them before saving. After that, it reads this month's messages only when you open the app.
It logs money you spend and any other money that comes in (side income, paybacks, refunds), which counts in your week. Salary, rent, EMIs and card bill payments are not logged as spends. Transfers between accounts in your own name are not counted.
For each entry it saves only the amount, who it was with, the date and a one-way code used to avoid duplicates. The SMS text never leaves your phone and is never stored. OTPs and offers are skipped.
You can turn it off in Profile or in Android settings, and you can delete any entry.
iPhone apps cannot read your messages. If you choose to, you can set up a Shortcuts automation that sends each new message from your bank to VThrive as it arrives. VThrive reads it on your phone and saves only the same four things: the amount, who it was with, the date and a one-way code. The message text is not stored. Nothing older than the automation is read. You can delete the automation in the Shortcuts app at any time.
We use your information to provide and improve VThrive's features, including subscription tracking, AI-generated financial briefs, and renewal reminders.
Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers located in Singapore. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We use Supabase (database), Resend (email), and Razorpay (payments). Each has their own privacy policy.
